Entrepreneurs: Matt Richmond and Mike Aniday

Rent-A-Goat helps businesses and homeowners landscape their properties in a safe and eco-friendly way, at a competitive price, by clearing their land with goats.

Instead of gas-powered, tractors, lawn mowers and trimmers, Rent a Goat allows you to use goats to landscape your property in a green, eco-friendly way. Keep your lawn trimmed without power equipment and keep it weed-free and fertilized without using harsh chemicals.

Rent A Goat is part of a larger phenomenon called conservation grazing or targeted grazing whereby goats are used instead of traditional machinery or pesticides in order to curb unwanted invasive plant growth.

Nationally, various rent-a-goat companies have cropped up over the last ten years and are used in a wide variety of settings, including: homeowners, large and small properties, companies and commercial entities, universities, municipalities, such as roads and parks
